lbnyc
I read that buckwheats are not related to wheat, as they are not cereals / grasses (family Poaceae); instead, buckwheat is related to sorrels, knotweeds, and rhubarb. So if it's not a real grain , more like a flower product , why cant I eat it during whole 30 ? I need some light here ! thanks !
Renee Lee
Hi there, it's still a pseudo cereal and has a lot of the same negative properties as the real grains. This is the same reason that amaranth, chia and quinoa are out for your W30. It violates some of the other Good Food Principles as well.
