Potassium sorbate

Hey all!


I'm a newbie here - on day 5 and doing just fine.  I bought some apple cider to use in a recipe for the upcoming week and it contains K sorbate.  I've done a thorough search and no one seems to know if it's compliant, something that should be avoided but is okay in a pinch/small amounts, or strictly off the table.


I just wondered if anybody has a definitive answer on this one.


Thanks so much!  I can't believe I'm drinking black coffee and actually enjoying it!  :D
