marnoldpt
Excited to get going with the Whole30. Glad this support site exists. It will be interesting to see how it works out. I am doing the Great Cycle Challenge in June to help fight kids cancer.
WholeNewMelissa
How was your first day? I am planning on starting April 25 and I'm very excited/nervous.
marnoldpt
So far, not bad at all. I had started eating healthier about a year ago, but I had not cut out sugars, grains and dairy per se. Good luck with your start. Helps to plan ahead!

WholeNewMelissa
wow that's inspiring! I decided to take this week to focus on the food and restart exercising next week. This was day 1 for me today and I'm starving....

This was day 1 for me today and I'm starving.... You definitely shouldn't be starving. Be sure each of your meals has 1-2 palm-sized portions of protein or if eggs are your only protein have as many whole eggs as you can hold in your hand, 1-2 thumb-sized portions of fat or 1-2 heaping handfuls of olives or coconut flakes or a half to a whole avocado, and then fill your plate with vegetables -- 1-3 cups. If you're truly hungry between meals, it's okay to eat. Try to make it a mini-meal of protein, fat, and vegetables or at least two of the three. If you're consistently needing to eat between meals then you need to make your meals bigger.
