jlk1980
One of my favorite things to have on grilled meat is avocado compound butter. I thought about switching the butter for ghee, but wasn't sure it would be a SWYPO (I'm still a little confused about that). Everything else in the recipe is compliant. Here's the recipe, in case anyone is interested: http://altonbrown.com/avocado-compound-butter-recipe/
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted July 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 9, 2016 Yes, as long as you use ghee or clarified butter instead of regular butter, you can have that. Here's the official SWYPO explanation, but for the most part, SWYPO foods are going to attempt to recreate baked goods, unhealthy items, and desserts, not veggies, fats, and proteins. Think about things like whether what you're attempting to make is going to easily fit into a template meal, whether it's going to leave you craving unhealthy stuff, or whether you're going to a lot of trouble to recreate things you've always eaten because you're uncomfortable trying new and different foods or ways of cooking.
