Snack 1     tahini & celery sticks

(Today)

Meal 1     3 turkey sausage, potato chunks w/bell peppers, plantains, coconut flakes, coffee w/coconut milk 

Meal 2     herb chicken, spring mix, mushrooms, dried raspberries, almonds, EVOO & balsamic

Meal 3     assorted seafood, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, & onions

Snack 1     macadamia nuts, dried figs

Food:     We went to a Thai restaurant for dinner before the movies, where I tried to be compliant but may have gotten a little soy and sugar in my dish. I asked which curries didn't have soy or sugar, and the word from the chef was "none of them", so I tried ordering a dish that was seafood & veggies sauteed. It came out in a broth that tasted a little of soy and sugar, so I got whatever was clinging to the seafood and veggies. I didn't actively eat any of the broth. I wish I had called the restaurant in advance to make sure I was getting something compliant. However, my goal is really improved health and not the elimination diet part (as I've already done several Whole30's with reintroductions) so... onward!

Meal 1     2 Applegate hot dogs w/ketchup & mustard, Cruciferous Crunch w/EVOO & balsamic, macadamia nuts, mixed fruit, coffee w/coconut milk

Meal 2     2 TJ's Chili Lime Chicken Burgers w/Chesapeake Mayo, shaved Brussels sprouts sauteed in coconut oil, 2 plums

Meal 3     3 eggs in ghee, oven roasted potato wedges

Snack 2     almond slivers

Food:   Today I did a fair amount of food prep - made the oven roasted potato wedges which were great, prepped my chicken salad for work lunches, fixed a lunch whose leftovers can be breakfast tomorrow, and cooked up some turkey for other meals. There really is so much shopping and cooking and (for me at least) spending money with eating this way.

Last night:

Snack 1     2 Almond Butter pkgs., 3 pineapple rings, Kombucha

Today:

Meal 1     2 Applegate hot dogs w/ketchup & mustard, butternut squash w/coconut oil, sauerkraut, applesauce, coffee w/coconut milk

Meal 2     1 1/2 cans tuna fish, 3 chopped celery stalks, 1 chopped apple, EVOO

Meal 3     chicken leg & thigh, dill new potatoes, butternut squash w/spinach & cranberries, Kombucha

Food:   I ate a few pineapple rings last night that I had gotten at the store as a snack, and they were so sweet that I could barely eat them! They made my teeth hurt. I was literally thinking, "How can people eat these?" :o I threw the rest of the package away. Holy moly.

Meal 3     gyro meat, mixed vegetables w/ghee, 6 French fries, fruit cup
