skeslack
I'm really struggling to start my second Whole30. I was really successful with my first one this summer in terms of NSVs. Tons to list! Plus, I lost 3 pounds and a couple of inches. I felt great! I am having a terrible time starting a second one and I know I need to do it. I know how to do it, it isn't hard, but I start and get derailed! It is more important than my first one because I am facing hip surgery in a few months and need to get my nutrition on track before then to help with the recovery process. Plus, I need to eat healthier now with my hip in such condition that I can't exercise like I used to do. Tips for starting a second or is it just tough love, get off my butt and quit complaining? I bought the Whole30 book to have some new recipes to try and I'm stoked about that, hoping it will help. Thanks!
kanmuri
A great read on how the mind works when giving in or getting derailed is a book called the Marshmallow Test. It's super interesting and might help you with strategies.
