PurplePerson
I am 6 months out from a concussion and am still having light and noise sensitivity, computers, TV, loud places. Has anyone noticed a decrease in symptoms on Whole 30?
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted January 15, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2017 Hey there; Here are is a thread and a video discussing Whole30 with a concussion. Whole30 is an elimination diet meant to help you reset your gut and relationship with food. There are many benefits including reduced inflammation. If you find you're getting some relief, that's great... bear in mind that you may need longer on the program to reduce the inflammation etc... or you might see no change in your head injury but taking care of your body by eating protein, veggies and healthy fats is definitely not going to make things worse. http://quantifiedself.com/2015/07/steven-zhang-concussions-headaches-whole30-elimination-diet/
Guest
I am on a whole30 to help with vestibular migraines - similar symptoms to what you describe. No improvement yet but it is early days.
