cmccoy Posted January 23, 2017 Share Posted January 23, 2017 I kinda figured when I reintroduced gluten I might feel some negative side effects...but having practically lived on pasta pre-whole30, I thought they might be minimal. Boy was I wrong... Had a piece of toast with almond butter for breakfast, 2 rolls with my salad (that had croutons) at lunch and a bowl of pasta with whole30 pesto for dinner. Hello exhaustion after eating, headache, brain fog, stomach cramping and depression! And all within the last 7 hours. Not to mention, I was hungry 2 hours after lunch when I can go 5-6 hours between meals when eating whole30 compliant foods. I've never been so excited to eat whole30 foods again for the next two days... Has anyone else experienced these side effects from reintroducing gluten?
