LPJ
Hi there. I did my first 30 a year ago, before my annual bloodwork. Now, 1 year later and after basically following the guidelines and eating pizza now and then I am doing another 30. Last year my cholesterol was 186. I had my annual bloodwork again and my cholesterol is 213 this year. The doctor says nothing to worry about as the ratios are all good. I always ate a lot of chicken and balanced out with red meats and pork. I did not, however, eat that many eggs before in my life. That is the only thing that has really changed. That, and the fact that I do not eat grains like I used to (granola, granola bars, oats) and beans like I used to. Any tips or ideas?
MeadowLily
Google fu your questions with Whole 30 and you will find they've been answered before, mostly by Tom Denham. Here's some other links to get you started, my regards to Tom Denham for these, too. http://paleononpaleo.com/paleo-high-cholesterol/http://paleononpaleo.com/paleo-cholesterol-testing/http://chriskresser.com/the-diet-heart-myth-cholesterol-and-saturated-fat-are-not-the-enemyhttp://chriskresser.com/the-diet-heart-myth-statins-dont-save-lives-in-people-without-heart-diseasehttp://healthcorrelator.blogspot.com/2013/05/sudden-cholesterol-increase-it-may-be.htmlhttp://www.cholesterol-and-health.com/http://www.drbriffa.com/blog/
