Yesterday I ate according to plan and had no problems sticking to it, even though it was a messed up day. Today is a rest day for all of us. We're exhausted. Unfortunately my daughter ended up being hospitalised 4 times in the past 8 days, which resulted in her having emergency surgery. Hospital food is not whole30 approved, and I didn't want to leave her for long at a time. I will be retrying again after Christmas. I know I would have made it if my daughter hadn't become sick, but it just wasn't possible under the circumstances. On the plus side, I lost 5.1kg and my belly is definitely flatter. I also was in the best possible position to face the stresses of my daughters illness because I'd been eating so well. I'm now in the healthy weight range for my height again too.
