Char321
I’m on day 8 and get a sore throat sometimes, off and on. It doesn’t get bad enough to be sickness and no other sickness symptoms have come, so I don’t think it’s illness. It started around day 3. I tried searching the site but couldn’t find it listed as a side effect of Whole30. Anyone else get this? I’m wondering if it’s a sign of detox, like the occasional stomach cramps. Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 27, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 27, 2018 Maybe you're snoring at night? Or the air is dry where you are? Randomly appearing sore throat to the exclusion of other cold/flu symptoms is not a side effect of eating protein, veggies and fat....unless you have an allergy/sensitivity to something you're eating. Have you been eating anything new lately?
Char321
Hmmmm, maybe a new food. I don’t eat coconut shreds or coconut milk in regular life, but having some every day now. And more nuts, when they’re usually a very rare thing for me.
BlueEyez
You sound exactly like me! I've noticed a sore throat, along with other abnormal things, every time I eat coconut milk and nuts. I'm thinking it's some sort of allergy or intolerance. I'm trying to avoid them to see if it makes a difference, maybe you should too. Glad to know it's not just me!
