WholeSelf Sarah
#ptl I haven't had a UTI for years (after going through a period of multiple UTI's in a short time) and but now I've ended up with one during reintro. Any thoughts on a potential cause? I've reintroduced legumes, milk, cheese, oats and a little sugar. I've learned alcohol can be a trigger for bladder irritation so haven't ventured there. CaseyD
It is possible you picked up E. coli in something you ate. Scientists have linked a strain of it in chicken to UTIs in humans. A UTI is an infection, not an irritated bladder, so it is unlikely it started with something you'd be intolerant to. However, if you have IC, that can be irritated by certain foods - but that is not an infection.
