Having some issues with nausea past 3 days. Started DGL yesterday & a little kombucha this am. Anyone else experience this?

Yesterday I drank more water. Have to get a water filter. The water here is yuck! I also had a couple of small snacks, since it's hard for me to eat more. ( post lap band 5 yrs). I also took 2 naps! I was human...at least in my mind. Th most amazing thing is my clear mind and sharp thinking! Dishwater aerobics, strength & balance training and a little yoga, too!

Hehe--water aerobics! Don't you love Apple!! Woke up This morning feeling GREAT! Face broken out, some aches from all the exercise! Clear mind. Slept 10 hours!!!

Good morning world! It's day 7!! I feel great!!

I am finally ready to write goals. I have been so focused on food that I couldn't do much else.Will post when done.

It's still hard living with others who snack constantly and eat everything- I either feel self righteous or PO'd too often!

I love being a 2 month snow bird. I can be outside, walk, do water aerobics outside, have less arthritis pain...

I have stopped drinking water with meals! I have cut my Prilosec in half. I am taking no NSAIDs or muscle relaxers.

I am sleeping 8-10 hours and taking short naps only!

Day 6 eating

Goals

1. I will ensure there is adequate protein, fat and veggies at every meal.

2. I will strive to get 8-10 hrs of sleep every night. I will take short naps when stressed, angry, tired or foggy.

3. I will walk every day. I will exercise at least 3 hours per week.

I will add aerobic exercise at least 2 x week.

4. I will work to decrease a I'd reducer to 0 by day 21.

I will strive to use no NSAIDs, muscle relaxers, or tramadol. Instead I will exercise, nap, meditate or use hot tub.

I will use DGL and kombucha.

5. I will focus on feeling good, being positive rather than on my starting weight, 234.

6. I will read books on nutrition and books for fun so I don't get to obsessive about whole30. I will normalize this experience so it becomes routine.

7. I will post meals and comments daily on Whole30. I will read and comment on at least one other so this is not all about me!

Slept 10 hours! Some GERD last night.may have been the pm decaf. Roseacea still flaring, but I am wintering in FL..more sun than I've seen in a while. Acid reducer cut in half...after years of use may take a while...

"Liar bar!" ROFL! Auto-correct drives me crazy!

Sounds like you've got your head on straight and a great attitude about this. I only wish I could get 10 hours sleep! I'd settle for 8! All this water drinking has my bladder working overtime. Too many middle of the night bathroom trips.

Day 9-- only slept 7 hours. Wow! I feel like I've been drinking lots of coffee and I gave that up a while ago! Everything seems clear & possible today!

Day 10

No naps yesterday! On an energy high! Some congestion today. Face looking better! My bermudas are getting really loose. Sandals are loose too! Guess I'm losing water weight. No swollen ankles in the afternoon! No NSAIDS or pain meds! Woo Hoo!! Water aerobics kicked my tuche! More walking and swimming! Sore, heavy legs disappeared by morning!

I made Eggplant Parm for the non Paleos, played mah jogg (won twice) and drank water while everyone else ad ice cram sundaes. See what I mean about self- righteous! Oy! That has got to go!!

Day 11

Feeling great! 8 hrs solid sleep! Breathing better. No reflux. Want to be moving, cleaning, cooking, doing. A little obsessive about the cleaning and orderliness of things. Went to first appetizer & cocktails party since starting Whole 30. Ate light meal b4 I went. Took appetizers that I could eat. Worked out fine!

Day 12

Another supercharged day! Yesterday some congestion, face is clearing up! Worked out hard ( for me!). Went to a birthday party dance & had a blast! Sore muscles at bedtime. Woke up fine! 2 walks before breakfast!

Day 13

Feeling good. Some congestion. Aches & pains pretty much gone. Glorious day yesterday. Spent the late morning & early afternoon with the pooch doing Dock Dogs. He is learning to fly!! Swimming and relaxing in the afternoon!

Day 14

What can I say! I'm lovin' Whole30. I feel good. NO-- GREAT!! I had to buy a belt to hold my shorts up. I'm on 2 months vacay & don't want to buy more...and this is 2 weeks? Missing the scale...been on " diets" since age 13-- geez almost 50 years-- and where has it gotten me? Nowhere! Just a quick trip to Guilt City. I also BOUGHT A BIKE at a tag sale yesterday, had it tuned up and rode it home ( only a few blocks). I haven't been on a bike, other than the gym,(and that one isn't wibble wobble) in maybe 30+ years. It was, well, like riding a bike! You don't forget, but my balance isn't perfect. Between my replacement knees and unlimber hips, getting on and off is hard and funny to watch. I have to lay the bike down to get off. My hips don't swivel like they used to! But the bike is the perfect size. Suggestions on limbering up hips to swing that pesky leg over? I'm dancing every week, exercising in the pool, walking . Perhaps it's time to meet the gym!

I forgot to mention my skin-- getting more supple, not dry, and no moisturizer on my face! Yes, I'm in 80 degree weather, but that used to not matter!!!

Day 15--halfway there!

Feel good. Got up had breakfast, pickled beets, made country spareribs in the crock pot, did 2 loads of laundry, went to the dog park & flea market. Bought a glass bowl for making sauerkraut. Wish I had my grandmother's crock, wood press & old set up for sauerkraut! In this vacation home the knives are iffy, there's no shredder or food processor. Guess I'll try the Vitamx. I like it really thin!

Day 18. Feeling groovy, smelled the Splenda container to serif there was a lingering odor--- wow I got a sugar rush from the smell...guess the Dragon's lying in wait...

Hmm wonder where my log for days 16 & 17 went?

Well, onto Day 19. Went to bed early, up early!! Bought a vacation house yesterday and had no idea how much the emotional excitement & stress is like a workout! I was pooped & needed to eat. 20 mins after a small balanced snack- protein, fat & veg & I was restored!!! No more go -to bogus snacks for me!! Mood is still stable, no sugar cravings! Brain is still clear, belt's tightened another notch! I can take my shorts off without unbuttoning them! Woo hoo! Rode the bike again-- have to work on the hip flexors to be able to better get on & off the bike!

Day 20 slept 11 hours. I was pooped, so busy here! I made Slow Cooker Cheater Pork Stew ( Nomnompaleo.com) for a stew cook off, mainly because I wanted to be sure there was something I could eat! Won 2nd place!!!
