Ideally your meals will keep you satisfied for 4-5 hours at a time, and for most people that means they don't need to snack.

If you do need to eat between meals, try to have a mini meal with protein,  fat, and vegetables, or at least two of the three. So maybe a hard boiled egg with some mayo and carrot sticks, or leftovers
