Some bloating is normal, the constipation not so much.

Be sure you're drinking plenty of water -- try aiming for 1/2 oz per pound of body weight each day, so a 120 lb person would want at least 60 oz. Be sure you're eating plenty of vegetables, since that's where you're getting fiber -- 2-3 cups at each meal at least, a mix of leafy greens, starchy vegetables, and others. Finally be sure you're having a serving or two of fat at each meal, typically in addition to the oil you're cooking in.

You might also look into magnesium supplements. Obviously, ask your doctor if you're taking other meds or have concerns, but it can help with constipation.
