LKSPtx
When a food label does NOT include an ingredient such as soy, dairy, etc. but says at the bottom "made in a facility that also processes soy, dairy, whatever" -- does that warning at the bottom make the food noncompliant for Whole30? What about language such as "is not a significant source of ..." ingredient X -- or "may contain traces of..." ingredient X.
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted March 6, 2020 Moderators Share Posted March 6, 2020 May contain and made in a facility are just warnings for people who may be very allergic to even cross contamination. less than 2% or 'not a significant source' are included ingredients and should any of those be non compliant, the product then becomes non compliant.
