edgriffin2017
I've been looking at some of these that everyone says are WHOLE30 approved, however some have added sugars, but it still says it's approved for the program. Does that mean these are approved sugars also? I've attached the link of one in particular. Thank you! https://epicprovisions.com/collections/bone-broth/products/turkey-cranberry-sage-bone-broth-1-14oz-jar
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted August 25, 2020 Moderators Share Posted August 25, 2020 So the link to the one you posted doesn't have added sugars. It has apple juice which is not sugar - are you looking at the nutrition facts or the ingredients? Because almost all food has sugar naturally occurring and we don't track that, we just disallow added sugar (and any sneaky sugars). https://whole30.com/downloads/whole30-sugar.pdf
edgriffin2017
I think that answers my question then. I was thinking that was the case, but wasn't for sure. I was just looking at the nutritional facts. But that makes sense for it to have the added sugar from the fruit. Thank you
