Kate Winter
Does anyone have any tips for traveling to Mexico only 4 days before I'll have completed Whole30? I'll be too close to throw it all away, however I'm going with my future in-laws and don't want to look incredibly high maintenance by being super picky about the food. I also don't speak spanish so it might not be as easy for me to ask the same types of questions regarding food prep as I would here. Thanks! Susan W
Seafood, seafood, and more seafood, then some carnitas and carne asada. Where in Mexico are you going? English is spoken in all the resorty towns. One of my favorite things in Mexico is all the fabulous fruits and veggies. You can find a serving of jicama, cucumber, bell pepper sprinkled with salt, lime and chili powder on almost every street corner. Some sprinkle fresh grated coconut on it. TAKE ME, TAKE ME!! Kate Winter
Great! Thanks...that'll be helpful. We're going to Puerto Vallarta, but my fiance's father likes to find the places off the beaten path to eat. Seafood it is! Good to hear the veggies will be plentiful as well. I'm pretty determined to not quit early on my Whole30!
