dianavuong
I just had some impromptu blood work done today in a non-fasted state. I ate about 3 hours prior - small piece of steak, 1 egg, braised greens. Can someone help me interprete my lipid results? I'm on Whole30 Day 8. Glucose: 84 Total Cholesterol: 200 Trig: 55 HDL: 103 LDL: 86 (I manually calculated these values) Thanks! I know Total Cholesterol is high but I'm hoping that my high HDL will offset. Avalanche
My understanding is that you can't really get a good read if you didn't fast before. Better to do a 12 hr fast (I usually do mine the night before so it's not a big deal) and then get your "real" results.
