SarahFancy Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 Hi all, I'm on day 2 of my first ever Whole30. I have been eating semi-paleo for several weeks, but had not given up alcohol, which certainly didn't help. Now I am joining a friend and her husband to really go for it this time. I am 40 years old, have 50 pounds to lose, and have been on every "diet" known to mankind. I live in Ireland, but am American. The good thing about Ireland is that most meat is grass-fed! Hallelujah. My biggest battles are planning for the work week and staying strong on the wine front. I am not going overboard with exercise right now. One battle at a time. I feel good so far, and am glad for the support. I have four kids and a husband at home, so the family meal is also important. We were never big on processed foods, but bread is definitely around.
