jennym
Has anyone found that Sweetgreen is Whole30 compliant? They have a lot of fresh ingredients but I haven't found any information on how their protein is roasted (namely chicken and shrimp). Thanks! Cappy
Bump for this. I travel for work, and there is a Sweetgreen nearby that I think could be a potential good option.
Robin Strathdee
Their menu and philosophy look awesome, but you'd need to contact them about their cooking oils
jennym
I tried contacting them but never heard anything back. I asked once when in there about some of the veggies and unfortunately the broccoli is cooked in some sort of oil that no one could name. Some of it just raw but the meat is questionable. If anyone has better luck getting a person on the phone or an email reply, definitely post! I only use my own balsalmic vinegar as dressing so I haven't questioned any of that. Cappy
I talked to a manager when I was there on Friday and he told me the chicken was covered with a dry rub containing paprika and a few other spices, and then it was roasted. So the chicken sounds ok. Still not sure about some of the veggies though.
Emily T
I want to bump this. I am a huuuuge sweetgreen fan but cannot find any info about their ingredients.
JohannaE
Bad news... I got the following response to my e-mail asking about how their proteins and cooked veggies were prepared: Response: "Hi Johanna! Unfortunately, all of our cooked ingredients have sugar in them... sorry about that :("
