Nadia B
Morning all. I have just found a whole daikon in my fridge. Not sure how it has ended up there. I am neither a fan of it nor do I know how to cook it. My go-to paleo cooking websites seem to use it raw in salads, not an option. My granny used to pickle them, that might be an option, I like cannery. Please share if you have some recipe for me. Thanks!
Nadia B
Second question. Will it still be bitter if I just boil it like in this recipe? http://myquirkylife.tumblr.com/post/1321086051/alert-primal-and-paleo-eaters
pjena
If you don't like it raw, try sauteeing it or roasting it. A little olive oil and s&p and it will be great!
