akahle1
I know some nuts and seeds are OK for Whole30. I'm looking at getting some "snack bags" made up for those times I'm on the go! Which nuts and seeds are Whole30 compliant? Raw Cashews? Thanks!
laura_juggles
Yes, you can have raw cashews. But you'll be better off in the long run if you plan to bring a little cooler bag with actual food: protein, veg, and fat, if you know you'll be out and about all day. Nuts and seeds aren't the greatest and are really easy for people to overeat.
kenziemichelee
I am on Day 11 and I have been eating roasted pistachios and almonds, but someone that comes into my work told me I cant eat roasted nuts.. He said it had to be raw. I have looked everywhere in the WHOLE30 book and I cant find anything saying whether or not roasted is not compliant. HELP! laura_juggles
You can have roasted nuts. You just have to make sure that they weren't roasted in a non-compliant oil, which is entirely possible.
