Angel
Apologies if this has already been covered but I haven't found a definitive answer using the search function. One of the reasons I am doing the Whole30 (on Day 7) is to aid my digestive system. I have years of EDs behind me and, as a result, can rarely go without laxative aid (I know, TMI.) I started digestive enzymes (NOW brand) and am now up 4 per meal. While I realise it is going to take time, what is the maximum dose I can safely take per meal? My Natural Calm arrived today so I will be adding that to the programme tonight which, by all acounts, should help too. Thanks, Angel.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 6, 2013 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2013 I believe it was Robb Wolf who said add a pill at each meal until you have a warm feeling in your stomach and then stop adding pills. I think I've heard of people going to 5 or 6, but the most I ever tried was 4. The Hartwigs talk about taking 2 to 4 in a discussion of supplements: http://whole9life.com/2010/09/supplements-part-ii/ I would probably stay with 4 for a week or so and see how things go.
