Nicole1775
I am planning on doing another whole30, my first attempt was 22 days. I have really fallen off the wagon and do not like the way I feel. My question is, I want to purchase primal pack and am wondering if they are ok for a post workout snack? If so, should I get the ones with mango and nut or just the jerk plain? Thanks in advance! Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 4, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 4, 2013 Either Primal Pacs are Whole30-compliant. Neither would make good post-workout food, but the one with nuts would be especially bad because you should not eat fatty food as part of a post-workout meal. Jerky is dry and can take a while to chew. You would be better off eating some chicken breast or tuna packed in water for lean protein after a workout. Nicole1775
Thanks Tom! Wondering if I could have pre workout? Just thinking of something quick and easy because I am enroute to drop my kids off before I workout.
SpinSpin
What about just a hard boiled egg or 2 before your workout? You could eat them in the car during your running to drop your kiddos off. Not ideal (being in the car) but simple and easy.
Nicole1775
Thanks spin spin. That's what I did today! I know I get bored with eggs and chicken so I was looking for a new addition. Thanks for the help!
