Toniakarpen
I recently eliminated eggs, dairy, almonds and pineapple due to a food sensitively test I did. I have since started the whole30 and would like to make the dressings but they all include the mayo which includes eggs. Is there anything to substitute the egg with? Carlaccini
Hi There, I believe there is a recipe out there somewhere for green goddess dressing (I think Mark's Daily Apple) which uses avocado and is quite reminescent of caesar salad dressing. I also had read somewhere in the whole 30 forum boards someone making mayo out of bone broth that has reached the gelationous state. I am considering going egg free as well but stuggling with this idea. good luck!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 5, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 5, 2013 I use avocado in place of mayo when I make tuna salad sometimes. You might be able to use avocado mashed with lime juice as a "dressing." Plain dressings can be made with olive oil and balsamic vinegar with some spices.
