Laura Jeanne Penrod
I started my whole30 yesterday. I will be traveling to Zion, but will be with students on a trip. I will have access to a kitchen but I need to make things hick and simple to eat. Also for storage purposes things need to be easily stored without tons of refrigeration, etc. any recommendations? Planned on hard boiling eggs for breakfast and maybe some carrots. Grilling some burgers and maybe making some salads ahead of time. Any quick and easy things that anyone knows of would be great. Carie Skeahan
I like your idea of burger patties. You could grill up some chicken as well. I also really like Primal Pacs: http://www.primalpacs.com/ Of course for fat you could take, coconut flakes, avocados, olives.
Megan Claydon
check out whole9's post on What's In Your Cooler Other ideas are...sardines, kipper snacks, nuts, a little dried fruit, nut butter, sliced bell peppers, baked sweet potato, cooked shrimp, applegate deli meat, coconut butter Preparation and planning is the key to w30 success and you are on the right track! Have fun on your trip!
Laura Jeanne Penrod
Thank you ladies! Great ideas! Have either of you tried the coconut wraps? Thought they might be convenient too. Do you recommend a size on the primal pacs? Look super yummy.
Carie Skeahan
I have not tried the coconut wraps, but I want to! Wish I could find them locally... I usually get the jerky only Primal Pacs and I get 30oz at a time. I hate running out of those things. hahahaha!
