Karyna
Hi everyone, I was at a birthday party yesterday SURROUNDED by cake, empanadas, potato salads, noodles, spaghetti... CAKE. I had eaten lunch before so I wouldn't be tempted but decided on having a snack while there so I had the grilled chicken... only to realise that it had been marinaded in adobo seasoning, soy sauce, etc. Do I need to start over? I'm on day 15.
missmary
soy is one of those foods where it really does make a difference to have 30 days clean before reintroducing. I would either add 15 days for a whole45, or at least wait a full 30 days from now before you reintroduce soy (possibly testing out dairy and wheat/gluten, etc. before that). Good job resisting the cake!
GFChris
In this situation, I feel it would be best if you restart, or call it a Whole45 if that works better for your mindset. Marinade is a red flag for soy sauce, gluten and other potential nasties.
