Freeeating
just got a jar of duck fat, used it a little for a recipe, can I leave it out in the fridge or should I put it in the freezer, thanks, love cooking now....
Susan W
I keep my duck fat in the fridge just because it separates if I don't. If yours doesn't separate into two layers, then just keep it where you'd like to. Cingrats on the love of cooking. :-)
wrightandres1
I usually freeze in airtight containers or in heavy-duty freezer bags. You can try this method.
praxisproject
I keep mine in the fridge. Mine comes in a plastic container which is fat safe, if you need to put it in another container I'd choose glass unless it needs to go in the freezer I never freeze mine, it gets used too fast! I couldn't leave mine out, no matter the weather, my cats think it is the bees knees!
