Otherwise compliant legume screwup. Keep on trucking?

So last night I came home wiped out from work -- it's crunch time, and I kind of only want to do a lot of nothing when I get home -- and without thinking I used half a can of lima beans in my otherwise compliant dinner last night.

 

*facepalm*

 

Am I screwed?  Do I start over? 

 

(Upshot: I don't seem to be having any sort of negative reaction.)

The lima beans can have an effect on your gut that you would not notice just 10 or 11 days into your Whole30, but it might be a small enough effect that you can still have an overall good experience. I would keep going and if you don't feel like you had a good experience by day 30, give it another 10 days to make it a Whole40 (with 30 perfect).

This amuses me, given how significant the number 40 is in certain literary traditions.  ;)

 

I'll keep an eye on things and see how things look on Jan 4th, my original Day 30.  Who knows!  I may be inspired to maintain until the 16th...
