Jai88
I have made bone broth/stock a couple of times but my slow cooker is not very big so by the time i've used it to make soup for the week there isn't any left and I don't really have time to make it every weekend for it only to last that week. I have been looking around for stock cubes that are whole30 compliant and so far haven't found any that have not got yeast extract. Does anyone know what brand I can get in the uk and also where from?
annabel
I haven't found any compliant ones. But, Costco sells premade soup stock in UHT cartons that's compliant and I think Waitrose might do some premade stock as well.
IanB
Meh! I gave up - just can't find any stock, whether cubes, gels, liquids or anything, that's compliant. Just made my own veggie stock when I've really needed some. Guess a specialist health food shop might have something - I was looking in Sainsbury's, good range but all got something in there to spoil it! Physibeth
For bone broth the secret to getting a lot is adding more water and cooking for another 24 hours and doing that for up to a week. You could also look for a larger crock pot. I've never made vegetable broth so not sure if there is a similar method for that.
