LisaLulu
If sugar isn't a reintroduction food is it ok to have something with sugar in it (or potatoes) on one of your in between days in the reintroduction period? I'm looking at my calendar and mother's day falls on day 33 and we usually have a brunch at my BIL that day where there will most likely be bacon, eggs, hash browns, fruit and toast. I'm already allergic to eggs so I usually just have the other foods, it would suck if I could only eat the fruit and nothing else. It would be nice to eat bacon, fruit and hash browns and skip the toast and eggs.
missmary
I think that would be fine, although check on the oil used for the hash browns. If they use regular butter or soybean oil you might want to skip those.
LisaLulu
My BIL uses mainly olive oil I think. he just chops potatoes and roasts or fries them for 'hash browns'. He is a very big foodie so everything they serve is top quality/well made. The bacon will be local, pastured too. Most of our social life ends up being at their house which is a big help diet wise!
