trigirl1217
So I am on day 3 and I am having a pretty terrible experience so far. I am really tired. I am super-thirsty and hungry all the time. I am having bad digestive "issues". But my real concern is that I tried to do my regular Tuesday morning group run yesterday and I couldn't finish without walking. My muscles were also sore from the run today which is unusual. Can I expect to fatigue quickly during all my workouts for thirty days? Or will it get better? Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted May 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 7, 2014 You should expect lackluster workouts for the first few days. Maybe up to 10. Take it easy during this time, both physically and on yourself. Your body is switching from sugar burning to fat burning, a very, very good thing for a runner. And yes, it will definitely get better! Moderators Tom Denham Posted May 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 7, 2014 What they said. And eat more and drink more. You are not doing it right if you are hungry and thirsty.
Chrisgordillo
I'd also add eat more starches with all your meals like sweet potatoes. Since you are a runner I don't think it will hurt to have a sweet potato or something similar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Brittany208
Are you eating enough? And enough of the right things? (Sorry, I can't be more helpful than that)
