kcwoodhead
I headed to the WF HQ this morning on my way to work and thought I'd grab some eggs and veggies off their taco bar vs eating the scrambled eggs I had packed. I was so sad to see their scrambled eggs have SOUR CREAM and CANOLA OIL in them. Sigh. If Whole Foods doesn't make them compliant, I'm starting to assume pretty much no one does. Derval
Sad face. Sour cream in eggs? Never heard of that before.
Carie Skeahan
I have never heard of sour cream in them either. I have heard of restaurants adding pancake batter to make them appear more fluffy and I usually expect they will be cooked in canola oil...coconut oil is unheard of at most restaurants. Sorry that happen to you...now you know.
Adagio
EVERYTHING Whole Foods prepares has canola oil. They must own stock in it or something. It's sickening. As for Sour Cream in eggs, yes, I've heard of it. Yuck.
Maeva
Sour cream sounds a bit heavy. But I have put buttermilk, bacon, and chives in my omelet upon occasion. It doesn't fit with Whole30 but I enjoy it. I am a little paranoid about buying scrambled egg dishes when I am out. You just never know what you are getting.
