sisco022
I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this particular side effect? I am on day 19 of my first Whole30 and the thing I am having the hardest time with is that ever since about day 6 I have been hot all the time. I can't get comfortable sleeping, even with the a/c on and two fans positioned right on me. I'm constantly waking up to try to adjust things to be comfortable. Normally I'm a bit of a freeze baby and I will always prefer to be cold than hot, so this is just awful for me. Is this what happens when your metabolism revs up? Is it my body trying to digest and break down all the extra protein I'm now eating? And is there anything I can do about it? My husband thinks I'm crazy because every time I complain about how hot it is, he'll touch my skin and my skin is cold to the touch. I don't know, maybe I just have to try to get used to it. Tina R
Yes this is normal. The best way to find answers is to search google " whole30 sweating" or whatever you are looking for. Here is what I found http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/12408-night-sweats-during-whole-30/.
Hols1
I have been having the same issue. I think it is my thyroid and hormones re-adjusting at least that is what I've read!
