really depressed

The past 3 or 4 days I have been really really depressed (history of mental health issues). I think it is due to the mirena coil I had fitted at the end of August and not the whole30 itself. Are there any foods I could include to help lift my mood whilst I'm going through the dark patch? :(

No single food works as a mood elevator, but many people find that they are in a better mood when they eat starchy veggies regularly to avoid being too low carb. So make sure you eat a serving of veggies like potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash, plantains, rutabagas, etc.
