kmdangl
I can't imagine coconut flour is whole 30 approved but I wanna ask??? Is it a paleo cheat? or is it ok?
Derval
I think it's ok to use a spoonful of it for thickening a sauce but not for baking "paleo treats".
Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 19, 2012 Using coconut flour as a thickener in a soup or stew or as a coating when pan frying meat is okay as coconut flour is Whole30-compliant. However, as Dervalc notes, you can make things with approved ingredients that are not allowed during a Whole30... things like muffins or pizza.
