jessica301 Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 My whole30 wrapped up yesterday but I'm definitely getting my period any day now and having some pms symptoms (tummy aches, etc). I was wondering if it's best to abstain my reintro until my cycle starts/ends, as I can't imagine "off-plan" foods would help me much during this time. Thanks for any insight. Link to comment
Carlaccini Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Okay - my advice would be to stay as compliant as possible. Make sure you are eating extra starchy carbs, and if you are hungry - eat. I find that I am super hungry the week before my period. My appetite nearly doubles. Then my period starts, and appetite still remains a little high but then by day3 it's back to normal again. Karen Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 I think it would be hard to do a proper reintro during the time in your cycle -when your body tries to tell you to eat as much as you can, and right now! I would hold off until after you're past the danger zone. In addition, it may do you some good to see the effects of the Whole 30 on your cycle. My 2 cents! Link to comment
