Ingredients: Aged red wine vinegar, Must of grapes, caramel color, sulfur dioxide thanks!! i have another balsamic vinegar that says ingredients: balsamic vinegar of modena, (contains sulfites) 6% acidity. are any of these ok? Moderators Tom Denham Posted December 2, 2014 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2014 When there is a note on a bottle of vinegar that says "may contain sulphites" it is okay because sulphites are naturally occurring in grape products. However, when the ingredient list includes sulphites, that typically means they were added and are not naturally occurring.
