Katquinn
Hey everyone I have been using a red wine vinegar, that reads (CONTAINS SULFITES) in parentheses after the ingredient list. I read somewhere that "contains sulfites" and "contains naturally occurring sulfites" are ok if not in the actual ingredients list, but this one seemed a little confusing. Please let me know. I am attaching a pic.
GFChris
I would suggest emailing Trader Joe's and asking whether they are naturally occuring or added.
mrsktoyou
Did you ever find out if CONTAINS SULFITES is the same as naturally occurring sulfites? I have a jar of cornichons (little pickles) from Trader Joe's that says the same thing on the label. (None of the listed ingredients are sulfites.) Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 7, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2016 "Contains Sulphites" and "Naturally Occurring Sulphites" are both fine. It's when the word "Sulphites" is listed as its own ingredient that it is a problem. You could always email TJ and ask, but my vote would be that these are fine.
