zoom
I'm embarrassed to post this but wanted to see if anyone had experienced similar symptoms. I'm finding since being on whole30 I have sometimes repeat urgent need to urinate and that sometimes have become slighty incontinent. From zoom Link to comment
raelynn67
OH Good! I thought I was crazy. Somewhere around day 15 i was going every 1/2 hour. And when I got to go #2, I got to go NOW!!! I've been thinking it's my body pushing the bad out and healing it's self. Link to comment
Smilie1
Going through the same thing. Haha! Although the other half is backed up:( I just started the whole30 a couple of days ago. Has this happen to either one of you? Link to comment
Strivin4progressnotperfection
Although I have not started the Whole30 program yet, I have been eating as close to and as much whole foods as I can right now and have experienced both frequent urination and constipation. I continue to stay hydrated, drinking water as much as possible and taking fiber to help relieve this constipation. Link to comment
zoom
Yep, I've found #2 harder. I usually find it completely easy, with a usual high fibre (from fruit diet). I'm supposing upping the vegies will help, but I'm not so sure, having meat 3 times a day feels a bit much. Link to comment
Megan Claydon
changes in movements is very common when such a drastic change is made. Keep drinking plenty of water. If you feel like you are having to pee every 1/2 hour....try adding a small pinch of salt to your water (you shouldn't be able to taste it) or drink mineral water. Frequent urgency is usually a sign that water is just passing right through you and your body is unable to hold on to it. Link to comment
Robin Strathdee
I was also just reading that constipation is a frequent cause of "accidents" in otherwise potty trained kids. It seems logical. That the same would apply to adults. Just a thought. Link to comment
KateF
I am luckily seeing the opposit - less frequent urination and now I can sleep through the night with out getting up! I would say stick with it, it may be your body adjusting. Good luck ladies! Link to comment
DucatiGirl
I definitely noticed a change in movements during my first couple of weeks of my first W30. I was slightly constipated but it got better by weeks 3 and 4. I tried to remember to drink enough water. It was rather frustrating at first though. Good luck to you. It should surely get better.
