Charlotte W
I know some packaged kimchis have sugar listed as an ingredient. I also know many kimchi recipes I see online don't have added sugar. I'll be going to a Korean restaurant on Monday and English isn't spoken fluently by many of the staff. Should I go assuming the kimchi has added sugar or is it more common not to have added sugar? Administrators ladyshanny Posted August 14, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 14, 2015 I would level a guess that it would have sugar, being in a commercial application like that. Depending on their understanding of the intent behind your question, that's something I would probably just leave off. On another note though, be very careful about marinades, spice rubs, cooking oils and sauces. :|
Charlotte W
Thanks! I'll be bringing my own dipping sauce and we cook the food on a grill ourselves, so no need to worry about oil/butter, and I wouldn't order any meat with a marinade.
