RainbowBrite
I've tried to search the forum so forgive me if this has been asked. Can someone please point me in the direction of or share with me the effects of nuts on the body? I'm trying to figure out where some mild gastric issues (gas and bloat) are coming from. The only things I've added to my diet since starting Whole30 are cooked green beans and pistachios. Unfortunately, I had both on the same days so I've been unable to pinpoint the offender. Thoughts? Thanks much!
SpinSpin
I would leave the nuts alone and see if that doesn't take care of the problem. Nuts are very hard on the digestion and can cause bloating in some people. Green beans, like Kentucky blue and what not -- pole beans, so long as you are eating them in their green state, and the beans inside the shells are immature they shouldn't give you gas issues like dry beans.
