kindergartencowgirl
Day one and I am having my usual afternoon slump. After teaching Kindergarten all day, I come home exhausted and just want to nap. I am not exercising currently. It's only 4 00. I want to chew. Any suggestions to get over this hump and stay on tack? My body aches and I can barely drag myself around. So very unmotivated.
jmcbn
Fruit/Herbal teas are a good thing for a distraction - plus they go toward your water consumption for the day - just be sure to check the ingredients for any off plan items such as sneaky sugars or soy.Be sure also to include at least a fist sized serving of starchy veg in the early days to help with the transition from the old diet to the new, and remember that fat is your friend - both in terms of brain health, headaches, energy levels & for keeping those cravings at bay...
