pennikyte
Ok so I started on October 19th. I really don't do caffeine. I used to have an advocare "spark" for breakfast.....something is different though...............I'm so tired it's not even funny. I know part of it is that I work 10 hour days and then teach group fitness classes, but I'm not sure I will be able to continue being this tired. I have tried to supplement with green tea and it's not phasing me. Does anyone have suggestions or do I just need to ride it out?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 21, 2015 Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2015 Being tired for a few days is normal. You may need to increase your consumption of starchy veggies to help with energy levels while your body adjusts to burning fat instead of sugar. Working 10 hours and teaching fitness classes suggests you might need 3 fist-size servings of potatoes, winter squash, rutabagas, plantains, parsnips, beets, etc. per day for awhile. Brewer5
AdvoCare Spark does contain caffeine. So yes, you have been "doing" caffeine. This will be the same as any other caffeine withdrawal -- you either ride it out, or replace it with a compliant beverage.
