What to do after missing a meal?

I have a medical appointment tomorrow that requires me not to eat from 8am to 5pm. I was thinking of having a good breakfast of eggs, meat and sweet potatoes, then another good sized meal at 5pm. But what about after that? Would I be allowed a mini meal/snack later in the evening as I will have missed my usual lunch?


(I am on day 3 of my whole30)
