Heather03
Hi! I'm on day 2 of my Whole 30. So far I haven't encountered any issues (other than headaches ) except after dinner tonight, I experienced some pretty enormous food guilt. I made lyonnaise potatoes as a side with baked cod and salad. I'm worried that I used too much clarified butter while cooking the potatoes. I didn't measure, but I probably used a third of a cup (I ate less than half of what I cooked). Eating these potatoes and thoroughly enjoying/savoring them is causing me to feel extremely guilty. I feel like prior to the Whole 30 I ate way too many carbs. Should I be avoiding white potatoes all together? Also, how much fat is too much fat? Thanks! Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 7, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 7, 2016 You should eat white potatoes. You needed a lot of fat to make that meal work. Relax. You are in a new world now.

WholeMama
I had/have a lot of food guilt too. My first Whole30 helped tremendously with it (after I got in the groove). I'm on my second now (still work to be done). Hang in there and enjoy your food
