cmhofmann
I was told that even a lot of spices have sugar in them. I have a spice rack but the canistars do not have lavels on them so I have no idea what all is in them. Are they safe to use during Whole 30 or do I need to buy all new spices and would those sold at a Whole Foods/Central Market type place be okay to use? Renee Lee
It's not the spices, so much as spice blends. You're generally good to go with the basic Durkee brand (or whatever) spices. Ground mustard's only ingredient should be mustard. (Th If you have a "Lemon Pepper" or "Garlic & Herb" blend, I'd avoid them during the Whole30.
