FreshWhole30
I have some salsa that upon ingredient review does not have any sugar or hidden sugars. The only ambiguous ingredient is the "natural flavors". However, in the dietary breakdown it lists that there's 2gm of sugar. So does this mean it would be whole30 worthy or not?? Administrators ladyshanny Posted March 28, 2016 Administrators Share Posted March 28, 2016 The sugar in the nutritional tab has to report all sugar, even those that are naturally occurring. Whole30 is only concerned about added sugar so as long as the ingredients read correctly, you're fine!
FreshWhole30
Thanks! That's what I thought initially, but then I was second guessing myself. I didn't want to mess up on my first day!
Karen_Suep
Tomatoes naturally have sugar, so I'm guessing this is probably the culprit
