Chandra Gibson
Is it okay to be on Whole30 and then go off for five days and go back on? Will one still lose weight or does the weight loss stabilize?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted January 13, 2017 Moderators Share Posted January 13, 2017 Weight loss is not the main aim of Whole30. We really cannot tell you how this would affect your weight, as everyone is different. Not to mention, it depends a lot on what going off Whole30 for five days means. If you go off of Whole30 for five days, you have to restart the Whole30 from day one afterwards and do 30 full days in a row, or you will not have done a Whole30. You need to do 30 days following all the rules before you do controlled reintroductions to determine how the foods that have been removed for 30 days affect you, to help you decide whether or how often to have those foods in the future.
